ProfileSignal does not invent roles, achievements, qualifications or measured outcomes. Career facts are extracted from the source you provide. Uncertain or weakly supported claims are flagged for confirmation rather than quietly strengthened.
Approval and posting
Nothing is posted to LinkedIn automatically. You approve positioning before final generation, then review, edit, refine, copy or export the result yourself. Previous versions are retained so approved work is not silently overwritten.
Which providers process information
- Supabase provides authentication, the private database and private file storage.
- OpenAI processes profile source text, your answers and selected reference photos only for the requested analysis or generation.
- Lovable hosts and deploys the application.
- Stripe is the configured payment processor, but paid checkout is not enabled until product prices and tax treatment are approved.
Standard AI requests use non-persistent processing where supported. Long-running responses may be retained temporarily by the provider for polling and webhook delivery. ProfileSignal does not send profile text, photographs, prompts or generated content to analytics.
Retention and deletion
Current defaults are 30 days for LinkedIn source files, 30 days for headshot source references and 90 days for generated headshots. You can delete sources or outputs sooner and request full account deletion. Final legal notices must state any billing, fraud-prevention or statutory exceptions before purchase is enabled.
Generated headshots
Headshots are generated images, not photographic evidence. Identity and clothing references are kept separate. Candidates are checked for likeness, realism, anatomy and professional suitability. Repair is bounded to one attempt; a second failure stops cleanly and returns reserved generation value.
Analytics
The application instruments a fixed, content-free funnel taxonomy. It excludes profile text, photographs, filenames, prompts, target-company names, generated content and payment details. Networked marketing measurement remains disabled until the approved consent and cookie position is implemented. Existing opted-in product event outcomes are retained for 90 days.
Payments, refinements and refunds
Public packages show proposed one-off prices and exact refinement allowances. Stripe price IDs, VAT presentation and the final refund wording are not yet approved, so checkout remains safely unavailable. Failed system generations already return reserved value automatically.
